Married 27 years come this June to Jeff, patient, tolerant, one of the smartest people I know, soft heart, soulful brown eyes that still make my heart skip
a beat...
Worked as a paralegal for 13 years. Loved the job in itself, didn't like majority of lawyers (some were wonderful, just not enough of them), seeing the
terrible things that people do to each other - just not good... Took time off over a year ago and have no desire to go back. Love being home with my danes.
Three wonderful children - pretty much the proudest mom on earth.
Joshua Scott, 23: computer geek, my brother's blue eyes, can't tell a lie, good friend, working his way through the ranks at Publix and loving it;
Miranda Nicole, 22: marine biology major (maybe changing to vet tech), sweet, natural chrisma, headstrong, has her dream job working at Seaworld, not afraid of
anything, seriously - snakes, alligators, sharks - she loves them all!; Julie Alexa, 16: determined to be an engineer like her father, perfectionist, mature
beyond her years, smart, beautiful, tender heart but tough as nails, the reason we have danes, my inspiration.
Grew up on the river in Ohio. Didn't live on a farm but had horses, goats, cows, pet pig named Helen, pet skunk, birds, ferrets, numerous dogs - mutts,
german shepard, collie, border collie, st. bernards, dashunds, chiuauas, poms, labs, weimaraner, dalmation, pug, australian shepard and danes.
Live in Charleston, South Carolina for way too long. Hate it - too darn hot, no seasons... Husband loves it (never said he had good taste...) Jules has
promised me an igloo in Alaska when she gets rich - she really needs to hurry up.
Current pets:
2 cats: Handsome Man (affectionately called lard a$$ by my husband) a rather plump black and white we rescued; Coda Cat, a grey tabby we rescued.
1 dashund: Jasper, belongs to my son, pretty much the meanest dog that ever lived.
3 great danes: Addie, 11 mo. blue euro female, a big goofy sweetheart, always up for a good time, best behaved (daddy's favorite - don't tell the
boys..); Sawyer, 9 mo. fawn american male, laid back, calm, loving, sweetest face (thinking about getting him therapy certified); Hurley, 10 mo. 1/4 euro
harlequin male, momma's boy, backtalker, protective, very affectionate, loves attention.
